Convent of St. Agnes
I wanted to see the Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia and the permanent exhibition of Medieval Arts of Bohemia and Central Europe. I ran off to explore it while the others continued exploring the Jewish Cemetery.
A focus of the exhibition is the decorative techniques in the Middle Ages, including the evolution of aesthetic taste and symbolism, and the techniques involved in creating these ornate decorative elements. My eyes were drawn to the stained glass panels with extraordinary detail etched into the glass. In the courtyard and the refectory, there were modern works of sculpture and drawings.
